Badjelly the Witch

Badjelly the Witch returns to the Playhouse in the July school holidays!

Badjelly the Witch is back and making mischief at the Playhouse Theatre in the first week of the school holidays.

When Tim and Rose set off to rescue their cow Lucy from the clutches of Badjelly and her giant Dulboot, they encounter one surprise after another. From an Apple Tree Policeman, to a grasshopper that thinks she’s a dog, and a mouse that used to be a banana, Spike Milligan’s beloved characters are there to help Tim and Rose on their way.

The costumes are colourful and the characters even more so in this adaptation by Alannah O’Sullivan. The show is directed by James and Jemma Adams, assisted by Mikayla Cameron, and presented in association with Playmarket.

Badjelly the Witch runs from Saturday 1 – Sunday 9 July. Performances are at 11am and 2pm (except for 1, 2 and 9 July which are at 2pm only).

All tickets are $8. To book, please ph 03 477 6544 or message us on Facebook. Please let us know at the time of booking if you require accessible seating.

See you soon at the Playhouse!
